RoJean Loucks siteThis piece is a perfect student/teacher duet for the beginner. Harp 1 is a single-note melody line while Harp 2 provides an accompaniment of chords, RH running eighth notes, RH parallel thirds, and parallel tenths split between the hands. Harp 2 does contain the melody throughout, so it could be a solo as well.
The duet version is a wonderful opportunity for students who have never performed in recital or church service before to “dip their toes in.” Abundantly clear fingerings are included in Harp 1; sparser fingerings in Harp 2.
Included are a score and two separate parts. Harp 1 also has chord symbols above the melody line, making it useful as a lead sheet. ALL HARPS, EARLY BEGINNER/INTERMEDIATE.
