RoJean Loucks siteThis medley combines American folk/spiritual favorites Shenandoah and Deep River. Lyrics are included, if performers or audience wish to sing along. It was arranged for the Prairie Winds Harp Ensemble and performed at the Smoky Hill River Festival in Salina, KS.
Harp 1 (late beginner) carries the melody lines over a simple LH harmony and can be played on a 26-string harp if lowest string is C below Middle C. Harp 2 (intermediate) has an arpeggiated LH and larger rolled chords (up to the interval of a 10th). Key of C. Full score and separate parts included. ALL HARPS, VARIOUS LEVELS.
