Greetings fellow musicians and fans of Domenico Scarlatti. This piece is one of seven Scarlatti sonatas for harpsichord arranged by Dan Reiter for a trio of flute, harp, and cello.
Scarlatti’s K. 491 is cherished for its spirited character and technical demands. For the ornamentation in this piece, Dan was inspired by Walter Carlos choice of ornaments as he played on a Moog synthesizer.
