The Open Door

The harp world is always looking for original pieces, and those written for harp and voice are particularly scarce. This book is helping to fill that gap, and we hope Mary continues to share her tunes with us. Thirteen original contemplative pieces, fairly easy to play, and almost all are suitable for 22-string lap harp. Also contains three original poems by Mary Lloyd as well as lyrics for The Songsmith, Harper’s Lullaby, Never Lost, and Tend My Lambs. “Music is a blessing and a joy that I feel should be shared” writes Mary in the preface of her book.
