We loved this piece! It is inspired and inspiring, a beautiful composition written to honor Linda’s friend. In the key of D in 4/4 time, majestic sounding and at the same time contemplative. Score is four pages, neither part is difficult. Harp starts with whole note chords, moving to half notes, and then a good blend of rhythmic variance to the end. Flute part is a beautiful compliment to the harp, both parts interweaving melody and harmony. There are no accidentals, and the lowest note in the harp part is low D.
