Fran’s music is advanced in composition and thought. It could easily be used as a score for movies. There is a beautiful intertwining of voicings that is quite mature from a compositional point of view. The melodies are beautiful. This book has been re-issued in Fran’s own notation using Finale. Formerly Mary had done the notation. Mary is very pleased that Fran re-did the project! It is well edited.
