Revised 2011, this version contains Bolero, Españoleta, Jota and Seguidilla. The Bolero and Jota are representative of Spanish dance rhythms. The Españoleta is more of a fantasia based on a renaissance dance. The Bolero is not difficult, but the Espanoleta and Jota each present challenges and require precise lever work. Seguidilla is slightly less challenging and can be substituted for the Jota movement. The suite, or any of its parts, can be a valuable addition to the repertoire. The Españoleta has some pretty tricky bits, but the only really difficult thing about the Jota is the parallel arpeggios, especially played at proper tempo. You can play one, or any combination of the four. UPPER INTERMEDIATE, ALL HARPS.
