Very moving and emotional piece, originally written to be played during a Maundy Thursday communion service. It is meditative and dark, with glimpses of hope. Playable on full range lever or pedal harp, only two accidentals, key of D minor. Much of the piece is on the lower strings with a busy left hand playing almost constant eighth notes, requiring good technique because of the low range. INTERMEDIATE, ALL HARPS.
